New year, new podcast!
While I love talking about periods all the time over on Self-Care for Cycles (the show I co-host with Janine Mulone, yes we changed the name!), I know not everyone wants to hear about it every week on that platform nor does everyone who listens to SCFC menstruate.
So for those of you who do want to be more aligned with your menstrual cycle, I created The Lunar Body just for you!
The Lunar Body is intended to be a gender-inclusive podcast for menstruators who want to manage their hormone health naturally, and supernaturally, through nutrition, herbalism, and intuitive expansion, using science and the moon as our guides.
I’ll be your host for this weekly show, where we’ll go in-depth on how to care for your lunar body and align with your menstrual cycle. We’re all about hormone health, body literacy, feminism, and spirituality. And we’re also about the politics of wellbeing because I do believe wellness is political and it’s gonna get real sometimes – racism, weight stigma, capitalism,
Here’s what my intentions are for this show:
I’m a quintuple Virgo (my sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars, and ascendant), all of which are in the 12th house of the unseen. So naturally, this show is going to be a blend of the practical and the mystical, the scientific and the intuitive, which will help you become an expert in your own body and better align with your cycle.
Your lunar phases are an untapped source of power that I want you to become intimately familiar with and to care for in a way that serves you best.
As the show goes on I would love to answer listener questions, and you can submit those by emailing thelunarbody (at) gmail (dot) com.
I’ll be in your podcast feed every Wednesday. but only if you subscribe! And let’s be real, podcasts are better with friends you can share them with, so don’t be shy, invite your favorite feminist to subscribe along with you.
Episode 1 is coming January 20. Until then, send me your moonbeams on Instagram at @goodwitchkitchen.
